Fundamentals of using Windows 7
Windows 7 is a very diverse program that offers many editions for what you are doing. Each type of edition offers a separate type of such as Starter, Home Basic, Home Premium, Professional, Enterprise, and Ultimate. Each edition may change your interface for the program and the way you log into the computer. You will notice from other versions of windows this one has a very unique style of GUI (Graphic User Interface). On the start menu which is located at the lower left hand corner you will see a menu with a lot of organized programs it is a very customizable page. to close this hit the GUI icon in the lower left hand corner again. There are other similar GUI icons at the bottom that you can click and un click them to minimize and redisplay the window for the corresponding GUI icon you picked. You can also add gadgets to the desktop which is a bit new to windows uses of XP, you click on the desktop gadget gallery and you can choose gadgets that monitor your cpu usage or even a clock. There are many fundamentals to windows 7 but this covered a majority of the changes in windows 7 compared to other versions.
